The Third and Fourth Age - Prevention and Longevity
Old age in inevitable,
senility finds no excuses.
Between 20 and 40 years of age the adult individual has every
probability and possibility of living a period of full health
and efficiency. In this period the individual's normal energetic
dynamics are in equilibrium, the individual should have achieved
a sufficient level of knowledge, understanding, consciousness
of the needs of his body and mind, and has developed a realistic
perspective of his personal capacities. The ability to control
emotions and sensations also provide the framework to live physical,
psychic, mental and emotional experiences in harmony with life’s
events.
As a person nears the 50 year mark, it is opportune to control
the energetic dynamic equilibrium through the examination of
the EC at the pulses. Maintaining constant equilibrium will ensure
the ongoing efficiency of the organs, the metabolic functions,
and the relationships within the internal and external environmental.
Strategies to prevent prepathological and pathological states
are particularly important during this period, in order to ensure
the individual's energetic equilibrium and place him in the best
conditions to live active, fruitful years during the third age
.
During the “fourth” age, the preventive strategies
applied in the previous years will demonstrate their usefulness:
the biological age will seem to be 10 to 15 years less than the
individual’s anagraphic age. The normal decline programmed
by the vital genes and the slow disappearance of vital energy
will not impede fourth agers from actively participating in life
both affectively and mentally. This represents the final gift
offered by CTM.
CTM is a holistic medicine dedicated to the individual, to equilibrium
and to prevention in order to achieve “longevity”.
During this period it is important to prevent the development
of prepathological and pathological states, in order to achieve
the best conditions for living an active and fruitful fourth
age. The individual's conscious “self-awareness” and
full participation is highly important for achieving longevity.
Longevity in fact does not consist in simply prolonging the number
of years in an individual's lifetime: rather it means bringing
the total days assigned in the individual's geneticprogram to
their full completeness. The individual has the opportunity to
live his predetermined years in psycho-physical wellness, which
is guaranteed by the re-equilibration with the internal and external
environment.
The constant harmonization of the temporal rhythms, the dynamic
longevity, in the individual's “environment”, ensures
longevity and the benefits offered for having lived and in observance
of the universal laws of the cosmos, in respect of nature, in equilibrium
with the complex dynamic system of living beings.
