Pulsology - The Therapist
Through the examination of EC at the pulses the therapist gathers
an enormous quantity of information concerning the “state” and
the “history” of the patient, that is about the individual's "terrain" which
offers an identification of the sick patient as well as his troubles. The
disease appears in a sectorial area determined by a relationship
within the spatial-temporal “movement”, inside which
takes place the transformation which, usually, proceeds through
a number of passages through different “states” or
neurophysiological processes, occurring inside the individual's
internal and external environment.
By eliminating the dualistic concept of the body-psyche and
by unifying the dynamic concepts of body-mind, at the examination
of the EC at the pulses it is possible to observe the physical
and psychic phenomenological origin of the chaotic events which
are at the root of the alterations inside the energetic rhythm.
The “states” of the organs and functions resulting
from metabolic alterations or from changes in emotional states
cause interactions which evolve into alterations of the rhythms
of the EC inside the physiological area involved.
The results obtained through the examination of the EC at the
pulses must be analyzed from a holistic and analogical perspective.
It is necessary to give expression to the information received
in a double manner through a logical language, for understanding
the symptoms-symbols, and through an analogical language, in
order to describe the relationship among organs, functions, systems
and subsystems, according to the anatomical and physiological
descriptions contained in CTM. CTM conceives of the human body
as an interdependent federation, whose reunion forms the personality
of the individual, id est. his physical, psychic and mental life.
The use of the analogical language offers a rapid perception
of every complex situation. The holistic dialectic leads to a
syncretic control of an individual in his environment and in
his future development.
In CTM the doctor-patient relationship is simplified by the
fact that diagnosis and therapy are based on the direct, objective
observation of the patient and not on the illness.
The examination of the EC at the pulses aims towards evidencing
the individual characteristics of the patient’s complex
system with linear or chaotic dynamics. The patient is considered
in his entirety, in his individuality, starting from the diagnostic
assessment of the pathologic evolution, in order to develop an
appropriate therapeutic program.
The therapist looks for a panoramic view of the patient’s
energetic circulation by examining the relationships among the
subsystems, the state of activity of the single organs and of
their functioning; the correlations at various levels, superficial
and deep, in rhythmic or cyclic variations. This examination,
in the flow of “time”, must refer to various levels
inside “space”, superficial and deep. The basic notions
originate in a deep knowledge of embryology and of functional
energetics, fundamental to Oriental physiology. It is during
the embryonic period that systems, subsystems, orientations,
interactions develop, according to the characteristic genetic
directives necessary to enact the program made to manage that
linear or chaotic temporal dynamic continuum which is at the
origin of the “emergent” properties within the complex
system of every living being.
CTM does not recognize the dualism of the mind-body. The functioning
of the organs and its energetic dynamic equilibrium present physical
and psychic manifestations. It is an integrated holistic approach,
which takes into consideration the dynamic physical processes
as well as the abnormal psychic tensions at the root of pathological
conflicts and behaviours.
The great CTM teachings consists in the demonstration that a
disequilibrium, in any organ or function, can be the consequence
of a disequilibrium inside the emotional or environmental life.
The individual manifests this energetic disequilibrium when he
is no longer capable of dominating the Self, his future, his
destiny.
In neurovegetative distonia, psychic tensions, neuroses, as
well as in many chronic pathologies showing organic manifestations,
is evident the stress due to a prevailing endogenous onset, manifestations
of interior conflict of a psychic, psycho-somatic, environmental
nature.
Through the examination of the energetic equilibrium at the
pulses are obtained indispensable information for identifying
the causality or the casuality of energetic alterations, in order
to reprogram the altered energetic dynamics and formulate a therapeutic
program useful to the psycho-physical sphere. In most cases,
the results will be surprisingly rapid and satisfactory.
The therapist practicing CTM must consider the double complex
aspect of the patient's temporal and atemporal reality. Therefore
great must be his universe of experience and vast his capacity
for a global, intuitive view of the symbolic thought processes.
Deep rooted and strong must be his ethical principles, which
requires him to consider his task complete only when the patient
is restored to full equilibrium and order with the universal
laws of nature.
If restoring the equilibrium inside the energetic circulation
and reharmonizing the rhythms of the metabolic functions are
an important part of the therapeutic program, it is just as important
to be able to dialogue with the patient’s unconscious,
in order to discover through the “symptom-symbol”,the
chaotic event at the root of the somatizations which maintain
permanent chaotic movements over the flow of time, .
The stabilisation of energetic equilibrium means “preventing”,
not “curing”, the illness, whose development can
be preventively avoided.
The superior doctor “cures when there is no illness” and,
through this work of “life protection” the therapist
achieves their task objective. Only when the stability inside the
EC equilibrium has been reached is the patient actually restored
to the orderly movement of the natural laws.
