The Time Parameter - Linear and Chaotic Biological Rhythms
Chronobiology represents the rhythmic oscillation of life.
The therapist must concentrate his attention on the equilibrium-disequilibrium,
order-disorder, action-reaction, linearity-chaos, harmony-disharmony,
as activities observed during the examination of the EC at the
pulses, in a “moment” of the flow of life.
Through this dialectic pattern it is possible to describe an
infinite variety of existential phenomena, which are at the same
time universal and specific to every individual.
At the examination of the EC at the pulses the therapist observes
the harmonies and the disharmonies in the dynamics of the energetic
network. When there are alterations inside the dynamic process,
the therapist intervenes by helping the individual through this “existential
passage” so that he can live within nature’s harmony.
The antique scriptures say:
CTM is at the service
of the people: it enriches itself with the gifts it offers, ‘without
acting’, in accord with nature’s order; it offers
benefits and does not harm.
To the therapist’s attention come entire categories of
patients with unavoidable pathological suffering within the body
(women with gynaecological alterations, pregnancy, menopause,
etc; men with sleep of digestive disorders etc.), or in the “spirit's
soul”. Among the latter is worth considering the “immigrant” category.
These patients live a double life: in the past, which transforms
old memories in the flow of time; and in the present, which is
lived as a deeply stressful reality; in an unreal and probably
unrealizable future.
Tahar Ben Jelloun writes:
I am the one who is out
of place: doctors […] have no remedy against exile,
against loneliness ... It is necessary to say that our solitude
is special, it is heavy, foreign […].
According to CTM, in the heart dwells the “spirit”:
it is the Centre of emotions, which has a relational dynamicity
towards the external world and also an introspective dynamism
towards the internal one. Manifestations and signals (soggetto?)
are the messengers of chaotic dynamics which cause a potentially
deep disorganization of the conscience: it becomes very difficult
to give a precise meaning to life, there is restlessness, a lack
of conclusions, confusion, mental states dominated by unconscious,
psychosomatic troubles.
In the Nei Tching (#361) it is said:
What are the ‘perversions’?
Q.B. answers, "The individual's existence unfolds
through alterations which lead to changes.
Alterations
and changes are in contrast with each other: from which
derives an evolution or an end, a sprint or a stop, depending
on the dynamics. If this state becomes permanent structural
changes will take place.
This is how
the Nei Tching describes the effects of chaotic dynamics
in a complex system.
CTM represents a psychosomatic medicine, applied to a hereditary
and cosmic environment, seen through a generalised energetic.
